Through the power of play and self-reflection, the EQJOY Masters and EQJOY World games, along with the supporting learning tools, enable children to develop their emotional intelligence.

Why Our Mission Matters
- According to the World Health Organization one-in-seven, or 200 million adolescents worldwide experience a mental disorder
- Emotional Intelligence (EQ) is known to be one of the best ways of preventing mental health issues
- Emotional Intelligence makes children resilient, adaptable, empathic and confident to name but a few of the benefits.
- Equiped with these skills children are better able to cope through dark times, build healthy social connections, be successful and ultimately lead more fulfilling and joyful lives.
Introducing EQJOY
- EQJOY is a California-registered 501(c)(3) charity responding to the children’s mental health crisis by empowering every child in the world to a become a MASTER OF EQ.
- We do this through the power of play and self-reflection. Our two products, EQJOY Masters (for 6-to-10-year-olds) and EQJOY World (for 11+ year olds), empower children to understand and regulate their emotions.
- The card games are supported by Emotion Explorer Guides which take children on a journey to discover and master the power of emotions.
- We partner with an incredible group of charities to ensure that children in great need get the opportunity to develop their EQ skills
- In addition to providing our charity partners with packs of EQJOY games for free, we also provide them with EQJOY Workshop Guides and other supporting materials to ensure that the children they serve have the best opportunity to become Masters of EQ.

The Power of EQJOY
The EQJOY Masters (for 6-10-year-olds) and EQJOY World (for 11-to-111-year olds) card games have been designed to empower both children and adults to become Masters of Emotional Intelligence.
Supported by Emotion Explorer and Workshop guides, EQJOY Masters and EQJOY World help people to better understand and regulate their emotions through the power of play.
The Challenge
One in seven, or approximately 200,000,000 adolescents (aged 10-19) worldwide experiences a mental disorder (World Health Organization)
One in five of U.S. children, or approximately 10,000,000 experience a mental health condition annually (CDC)
One-in-ten students in grades 9 through 12, almost 2,000,000 children, attempted suicide in 2021 (Healthy People 2030)
Our Solution
Teaching EQ skills builds resilience and empathy, equipping children with the ability to cope in difficult times and build healthy relationships
The EQJOY card game, Emotion Explorer Guide, as well as EQ Programs and Workshops all empower children to understand and regulate their emotions through the power of play
